Teus Nobel Acoustic Trio

Trumpeter and Edison Award winner Teus Nobel is one of the leading jazz musicians in our country. In September 2023, he released his ninth album, After Hours. The inspiration for this album is the 40th anniversary of his favorite Chet Baker trio album Someday My Prince Will Come (1983).

The lineup he brings to Jazz te Gast is the same as on Chet Baker's trio album, featuring guitar (Tim Langedijk) and double bass (Thomas Pol). This ensemble allows for the melancholic, serene sounds that characterized Baker, but of course, there's also plenty of room for some solid swing!
